Irgendwie erinnert das Konzept dieses Films an Open Water, Skilift-Horrorfilm at its best! Der Plot klingt auch ein wenig nach Open Water, nur eben mit Snowboards und einem Lift. Da bin ich mal gespannt. Eigentlich müsste man sich doch nur über das Seil zum nächsten Mast hangeln, um runterzukommen, aber vermutlich wartet da schon der Yeti Snip:
A typical day on the slopes turns into a chilling nightmare for three snowboarders when they get stranded on the chairlift before their last run. As the ski patrol switches off the night lights, they realize with growing panic that they’ve been left behind dangling high off the ground with no way down.
With the resort closed until the following weekend and frostbite and hypothermia already setting in, the trio is forced to take desperate measures to escape off the mountain before they freeze to death. Heute Abend spielen im Gaskessel in Bern im Rahmen des «Rotting Tank Festival» Gloom, Alternativ Metal aus der Schweiz, Alev, ebenfalls Alternativ und eben Megaherz, Industrial Metal, beide aus Deutschland. Megaherz wurde 1993 in München gegründet und ist dem Bereich der «Neuen Deutschen Härte» mit Ähnlichkeit zu Rammstein und Oomph! zuzuordnen.
Besonders gefällt mir, wie die Band zu ihrem Namen gekommen ist. Als Inspiration gelten Megadeth und die Wildecker Herzbuben, aus welchen der Name «Megaherz» entstand, frei nach dem Motto «Hart, aber herzlich». Im Gegensatz zu Rammstein verwenden Megaherz, direktere Texte und Aussagen, die häufig von Themen wie unerfüllte oder ausgebrannte Liebe (Showdown, Teufel, Miststück), Verlust (5. März), Alltagsprobleme (Schlag zurück, Heuchler) oder soziale Missstände (Mann von Welt) handeln.
Wer also heute Abend noch kleinen Plan hat, was er unternehmen will, der sollte sich doch dieses Konzert zu Gemüte führen. Ausserdem findet das Konzert im legendären Gaskessel in Bern statt. Die Anlage befindet sich in den ehemaligen Gasreservoirs der Stadt Bern, ist direkt neben der Aare und die Räumlichkeiten sind aufgeteilt in zwei sphärische Halbkugeln. Hach, war ich lange nicht mehr im «Chessu», ist ca. 25 Jahre her, mal sehen was daraus geworden ist
