If you always wanted to know what Facebook stores about you, you should Wolfram Alpha take a closer look. The semantic search engine is known for finding answers to primarily scientific questions and for presenting them precisely and clearly. A new feature now enables you to evaluate your own Facebook profile as well as that of friends, including a detailed report including graphs, maps, tables and diagrams that detail digitally left traces.
It is no longer a secret that Facebook collects data. The evaluation of the shows an insight into Facebook's data collection and how much the social network actually knows, even if you think you have revealed little about yourself Wolfram Alpha Analysis more than clearly. After entering "facebook report" or "facebook friends" and allowing the application to access Facebook, Wolfram Alpha will provide you with a detailed Facebook profile analysis.
The digital fingerprint is displayed in the form of a research report within a very short time. In a wide variety of reports on yourself, Wolfram Alpha shows not only the standard information entered on Facebook but also complicated evaluations that you cannot see at a glance in the network itself. This includes, for example, a bar chart that looks back over months, how many links were posted, photos or videos were uploaded and status reports were made.
A pie chart shows the same relationship in percentage distribution. The week display shows on which days and at which times the aforementioned activities were carried out. Wolfram Alpha shows how many posts have already been made on Facebook, how many likes and comments you have collected with it and what the average length of the posts is, expressed in words and letters.
But Facebook not only knows about ourselves, information about our friends is also abundantly available on the social network. Starting with the percentage gender distribution over the graduation in age groups or the relationship status depending on age or gender to the visualization of your own friends and their interconnection as a network, the evaluation provides countless information.
If you find one of the many sections particularly interesting, there is the option of sending the evaluation as an image to a permanent website and sharing it on Facebook. Other functions such as zoom, which can be useful in detailed graphs, downloading, fine-tuning of diagrams and a few more things are possible with the Wolfram Alpha Pro account. I find it very annoying that many application options are offered, but can only be used with a premium account.
In his Blog Wolfram Alpha founder Stephen Wolfram promises, following an analysis example and explanation, that the new service will be further developed and even more features will be made available in the future.
