With “The Passage” we can expect a film adaptation of the novel trilogy of the same name, which was initially supposed to be released as a film in cinemas in 2007, but is now delighting us as a weekly format on television instead. Filmmaker Matt Reeves, who directed “Cloverfield” as well as “Planet of the Apes: Revolution” and its sequel “Planet of the Apes: Survival”, tells us the dark saga of vampires and the apocalypse. Justin Cronin's award-winning novel clocks in at a whopping 1024 pages and in it, the world as we know it ceases to exist. The girl Amy is just six years old when she is kidnapped by two FBI agents and taken to a secret medical testing site. It has been a long search for Amy, the ideal test subject for a mysterious experiment that aims at nothing less than making people immortal. But then something goes wrong – completely wrong. From one day to the next the world is hurtling towards ruin - and only one person can perhaps save humanity: Amy Harper Bellafonte.
The wiser gives in! A sad truth, it establishes the world domination of stupidity.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
