In the new film by cult director Steven Spielberg, virtual reality is no longer a dream of the future, all social life has shifted there. The adaptation of Ernest Cline's bestseller is filled with digital attractions and amusements, but also offers an escape from the dreary reality. Tye Sheridan (Scout vs. Zombies) also makes use of this, who gets involved in a game in the virtual world OASIS that is supposed to turn his entire life upside down.
