Here's the final trailer for "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" and it reveals the true motives behind the renewed island detour. What's left of Jurassic World is going to be auctioned off to the highest bidder - including its primeval residents! Far more of a run-of-the-mill sequel, JA Bayona's (The Orphanage, Seven Minutes Past Midnight) sees dinosaurs rampaging unchecked across the world for the first time. The course for a “global” Jurassic World should therefore be set. Old acquaintances like the dinosaur whisperer Owen (Chris Pratt from "Guardians of the Galaxy") and park manager Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard from M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village"), who deal with fear, are also part of the party get busy as they understand the true purpose of their Jurassic World visit. Can guest stars like crowd favorite Jeff Goldblum help and avert the disaster? Even a brief cameo appearance by Laura Dern as Ellie cannot be ruled out.
The film title says it all. The island paradise on which Jurassic World was built is on the brink of collapse, making «The Fallen Kingdom» both a survival thriller and a disaster thriller. Four years have passed since the Jurassic World theme park and luxury resort was destroyed by dangerous dinosaurs. Since humans had to flee Isla Nublar, the remaining dinosaurs have asserted themselves as the undisputed rulers of the jungle. But when the island's previously dormant volcano begins to bubble, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) must return to save the last of the dinosaurs from extinction. The rescue operation proves more dangerous than expected, as lava is already raining down on the island's quake-torn terrain as they arrive. While Owen desperately tries to save his raptor Blue, the rest of the expedition members uncover a conspiracy that could catapult the earth back to the hostile state of prehistoric times.
