In «Hereditary», Toni Colette (Krampus) takes on a thoroughly unsettling legacy. After the death of her own mother, her family slowly but surely seems to drift into madness. This is also underlined by the second German trailer with even more disturbing scenes, which currently only give an idea of the horror that will spread in our cinemas from June 14th of this year. For many, newcomer Ari Aster's dramatic horror thriller is already one of the scariest films of recent years. The focus of the plot is the Graham family, who outwardly live in harmonious coexistence. Annie (Toni Collette) is a loving mother and lives with her husband Steve (Gabriel Byrne) and their two children Peter and Charlie on the outskirts of the forest. When Annie's mother, Ellen, the head of the family, dies, the family must deal with mysterious and horrifying events. Little by little, the terrifying secrets of their ancestors are revealed. Suddenly, Annie, Steve, Peter and Charlie find themselves in a race against the dark and sinister destiny their ancestors left them...
Even a disappointment, if only thorough and final, is a step forward.
