The real “The Expendables” soundtrack Contains seven songs that are worthy of any action star of the eighties and give the film its own kicks ass note! Shinedown were allowed to perform “Diamond Eyes” already grabbing the strings for the trailer and we expected a lot for the soundtrack.
But offers Original soundtrack unfortunately only the scores by Brian Tyler. That's why all eight songs from “The Expendables” are here in the crypt and what can I say, there are actually no real surprises. Good old Southern Rock at its best, with a few songs from CCR, Thin Lizzy, the Georgia Satellites and more...
And I don't care if the critics hate the film, it's just obviously not made for the brothers - but for you and me!
Long story short, here is the complete list of songs from “The Expendables”:
Castille - David Bradnum
Hacienda Grande - Michael Alan Levine
Mississippi Queen - Mountain
Keep On Chooglin' - Creedence Clearwater Revival
The Boys Are Back In Town - Thin Lizzy
Born On The Bayou - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Keep Your Hands To Yourself - Georgia Satellites
Diamond Eyes - Shinedown
Sorry, what is the name of the last song playing during the showdown at the palace? Sounds like Hettfíeld “too late”
Greetings + Merci
Hmmm, I wouldn't have noticed James Hetfield ... Don't you think so Shinedown with "Diamond Eyes"?
Thanks for the list!
I seem to remember “Have you ever seen the rain”…
