La Coka Nostra Feat. B-Real - I'm An American

[JFK talking]
To a new generation of Americans.

[Nixon talking]
I must put the interest of America first. People have got to know whether or not their president’s a crook. Well I’m not a crook.

[Slaine]
I’m an American

[Charles Manson]
United States of America is the demon of the world.

[Verse 1: Slaine]
I’m a product of America, youth psychotic from narcotics
Born consumers and STD’s, yeah I got it
A victim of a media machine, violence and lust
Top to bottom and greedy in between
I’m a menace with big dreams
And no morals to stop me from none
I gotta get mine, that’s why I went and copped me a gun
Police’d put me in a cage if they could lock me in one
These dudes’d kill me out of jealousy, they’d pop me and run
s**t I’m bloodthirsty too, we were raised with foul ways
It’s in everything we watch and listen to nowadays
When the younger kids are way more depraved
With a hunger for beef, some’ll run around the neighbourhood crazed
Land of the free, home of the brave, my world is a morgue
One day I’ll lay alone in a grave, still my dome is enslaved
In the haze of the power I crave
I can’t help it, this is how I was raised

[Verse 2: Ill Bill]
My synergy’s a conspiracy, I hit the scene like spinning guillotines
Villains creep through your village deep while idiots sleep
I’m awake, dominate, annihilate, I violate
Obliterate, incinerate, exterminate, I’m an American
Murder, hate, violence and war, tyrants galore
Riots and more, a violent uproar, the rise of the poor, we monitor all
Everybody signed at the door
So walk out now or you may never survive at all
We murder capitals, turn hometowns to homicides
TNT tinted Econolines
My take on society’s beyond the fabrications that they prophesized
Colonize through modern lies
Economize and sodomize
Humanity everyday, vanity scrape
Gravity take hold of your sanity, wait
This is not an exercise, this is real life
Salvage your fate, contaminated planet of hate
The children sing a passage of faith
Lavish taste was a trait of Alexander the Great
Savage grace gravitate to mathematics & space
Like Dr. Malachi when the hidden cameras invade
Get shafted and played like the others these cannibals ate – I’m an American

[Chorus]
[Everlast (excerpt from „America The Beautiful“ in the background)]
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.
[Ill Bill (cut by Lethal)]
I need a blowjob and a pizza
[Ill Bill (repeatedly)]
I’m an American

[Verse 3: Everlast]
Hey yo my gluttonous nature is imperialistic
I’m completely irrational, I’m unrealistic
Got the right to talk s**t, got the right to bear arms
I bring disease, I bring famine with some guns and some bombs
Got my four horse squad, my lightning rod
I’m in a beef with the Devil and I fight for God
I’m from the Highland clans, I’m on some stolen lands
The crown jewel in the New World Order plans
Get your quarter cam, place your order, man
Step up right this way to slaughter, lamb
While every one of y’all freedoms got emancipated
You just surfed on the net and you masturbated
We got hoes, we got bloods, we got sex, we got drugs
We got laws, we got all the right people to break ‘em
We got blood, you got oil, you got land we can spoil
We got bigger, better guns, yo I know we can take ‘em

[Verse 4: B-Real]
Once upon a time in America there was a hustler holding a Derringer
Wearing a black hoodie and living life like the predator
Hated this life, embarrassed of being alone
The little he knows will get him a past
Assed out with his head blown
It’s no living, the land of the lost
Could’ve been a leader but put on the cross
Needed to push for his cause
Breaking laws, now he’s a felon
The system is flawed
Praying to God every day of this life fighting the odds
He wants a piece of the pie, the gleam in his eye
American dream in his mind, led him astray in his stride
Inside of a cell, he put his whole family through hell
Broken apart, breaking his mother’s heart
He started in school when he was on the path to losing his mind
Whatever happened to, “No child gets left behind.”?
Just another slogan I’m hoping that you can comprehend
I’m born to struggle, I’m an American

[Chorus]

DBD: The Stain – La Coka Nostra

La Coka Nostra - The Stain

Keep an eye out for your soul, girl
Don’t let them devils take it away
All that glitters is not gold, girl
Hollywood is a dangerous place to play
Keep an out for your soul, girl
Cause ain’t nothing getting rid of the stain
The hills are dark, the hills are cold, girl
They’re soaked in blood, they’re draped in pain

[Verse 1: Ill Bill]

Her heels clicking on the black asphalt
Her beauty’s a pistol and a passport
I couldn’t tell her nothin, look what her titties and her ass bought
You never asked what that cost, tell her that she can’t afford it
Next thing you know she gotta have it, she can’t avoid it
Champagne dreams, caviar wishes
Barely eighteen with bad intentions
Baby take heed, don’t just laugh
And stress the fact I’m in the music business
Accuse me of using bitches
You’re probably right, that guarantees it’s the truth I’m spittin’
Trust nobody, question everything
The only thing certain is death eventually
And how perception is received
Deception is conceived, sex, drugs, decadence, and greed
You’re my daughter, I raised you to be a queen
It seems like it was just yesterday you were born
I take responsibility for putting you onto the truth
To the devils and the gods it doesn’t matter if you live in the rain
You can’t wash it out cause nothing gets rid of the stain

[Chorus]

Keep an eye out for your soul, girl
Don’t let the devils take it away
Hills are dark here, hills are cold girl
It’s soaked in blood, they’re draped in pain

Keep an eye out for your soul, girl
Don’t let the devils take it away
All that glitters is not gold, girl
Hollywood is a dangerous place to play

[Verse 2: Slaine]

The hills have eyes in the land of lost angels in skies
The lies are disguised leaving truth tangled and tied
The fiends are awake, the lights are bright, the strangers are high
Dreams are at stake, there’s no brakes on a dangerous ride
First you love it and you want it, go faster cause it’s a rush
Hit the gas, try to chase cause you want it but you can’t touch
The more that you speed and try to catch the further you fall
You scream for help and it seems nobody heard you at all
Baby, I don’t want to see you repeat it and try to be me
Believing all the bullshit that they feed you on the TV
You’re my seed and I was tortured, I need you to believe me
I rose from the city, fell into the seedy side of greedy
It’s a letter from your daddy if I’m gone when you hear it
Just a memory, a voice on a record, even a spirit
Just remember it don’t matter if you live in the rain
And try to wash it out, nothing gets rid of the stain

[Chorus]

Keep an eye out for your soul, girl
Don’t let them devils take it away
All that glitters is not gold, girl
Hollywood is a dangerous place to play

Keep an out for your soul, girl
Cause ain’t nothing getting rid of the stain
The hills are dark, the hills are old, girl
They’re soaked in blood, they’re draped in pain

La Coka Nostra – Cousin of Death

La Coka Nostra - "Cousin Of Death" Official Video

Glory fades and glory days ain’t always what they seem
Give all I got and make my salaat and dream my broken dreams
I crawl inside, ball up and hide, tuck my pain away
And hope to God I fall into a sleep where I can stay

We all got bills to settle, we all got a price to pay
And if I make it through the night I can fight another day
They say it’s better to burn out than it is to fade away
I just hope to God I can fall into a sleep where I can stay

[Verse 1: Slaine]

It was a couple of years ago that I started becoming numb
No one could understand where all my words were coming from
Having visions of a nine-to-five, a wife, a blunt, a son
Of a life of hustle getting by with some of the running gun
Is it best to be a crumb? My ex says he’s a bum
Lashing out in violence whenever my destiny it hung
In the balance, rum, I’m drinking gallons, some think that my flows
Are more poetic than the poems of Edgar Allen Poe
But I know that I’m at a challenge though
I can hold an old Calico to my dome and let my talents go
Shit, I spent my whole life around the violence so
I planted seeds of hate oh I let my habits grow
I slept with the homeless, I copped with the fiends
Lost the love inside my heart, I even forgot what it means
Seen the ripest nights turn into the rottenest schemes
But through it all I have never forgotten my dreams

[Chorus]

When the gutters fill with blood that’s spilled from friends that pass away
And memories of eulogies while standing by their graves
Just trying to survive we wind up living lives like slaves
I hope to God I can fall into a sleep where I can stay

We all got beef to settle, we all got demons to slay
And if I pray all through the night I can fight another day
They say it’s better to burn out than it is to fade away
I just hope to God I can fall into a sleep where I can stay

[Verse 2: Ill Bill]

Rest in peace to my homie Sob
I stand before an altar of open sepultures and coffins
I heard Javier got killed, it didn’t seem real
With an army of goons drinking straight vodka to deal
We live and die by the gun, wear our hearts on our sleeves
Even though our compassion’s destined to die on the streets
What’s left over a cold hollow murder machine
With an appetite for malevolence, perversion, and greed
When one of us dies we don’t really learn anything
Outside the funeral doing bumps, burning trees
Plotting revenge, crying over fallen angels
Sometimes your friends die the most awkward strangers
I can’t lie, sometimes this life makes me a stranger to myself
But I’m pulling myself together, it’s bigger than just me
As I spit this bear witness to truth
My unborn seed listens while I spit in the booth

[Chorus]

Glory fades and glory days ain’t always what they seem
Give all I got and make my salaat and dream my broken dream
I crawl inside, ball up and hide, tuck my pain away
And hope to God I fall into a sleep where I can stay

We all got bills to settle, we all got a price to pay
And if I make it through the night I can fight another day
They say it’s better to burn out than it is to fade away
I just hope to God I can fall into a sleep where I can stay

A Brand You Can Trust – La Coka Nostra

La Coka NostraLa Coka Nostra hatten wir ja bereits mehrfach hier in der Gruft, u.a. mit „I’m An American„, „That’s Coke“ und „Bang Bang„. Nun ist endlich das Album draussen: A Brand You Can Trust.

La Coka Nostra – That’s Coke

La Coka Nostra - "That's Coke"

Nachfolgend die Lyrics zum Song:

(Everlast)

Yo, I’ve been rhyming since my daddy’s dick first got wet
Kicked a hole in the womb of my mother then I jet
Back to the scene of the crime
A true mastermind
I’ll never do time

(Slaine)

Nah, but I do watch my watch till the second hand stops
And the bars close down and the records get dropped
Piss drunk in the parking lot speaking dumb
Gun all sticky from the Puerto Rican rum

(Ill Bill)

I keep it real like the 80’s when we flooded the block
Stick up kids went from baseheads to suckin‘ the cock
The hottest bitch in my projects discovered the rock
A year later had the monster climbing out of her twat

(Slaine)

This is a stick up
I told you you could reach for the sky
Fuck a chip off the brick or the piece of the pie
The worst thing they did to the kid was leave him alive
Now I’m ruthless moving with a reason to die

(Everlast)

The trees got me so high I can’t sniff your next line
My culture’s refined
I’m heavy on the grind
I’m hard in the paint
My uzi weighs a kilo
I’ll smack you in the face and crack your head like Cee Lo

(Ill Bill)

It’s a fact homey eagles don’t roam in flocks
But the eagles that I got will put a hole in your top
So predictable I’m already knowin‘ your plot
It happens so fast you won’t even know that you’re shot

(Slaine)

Till the concrete is painted with pain
Cause you bein‘ dead is the only way they’ll ever say you were slain
Black scully, black bandana, and black coat
with the co-leader in the House of Pain (that’s coke)

(Danny Boy)

You already know what it is
It’s the pimp, the sniff and the aw shit
That ain’t dandruff homeboy
Hell naw that ain’t dandruff

All in together now – That’s coke (x5)

(Ill Bill)

That’s coke in freezer bags hidden in the ferarri
More raw than Big Daddy Kane spittin‘ with Marley
More white than them three bitches sniffin‘ with Charley
That’s coke like a boston george new year’s party

(Everlast)

The motherfuckin‘ svengali
Mob boss got body in the XL Denali
With the mossberg shotty
Got a full box of shells and a ransom note
That ain’t gun powder out on my dash (that’s coke)

(Slaine)

I’m raw as sushi
Belushi’s spirit probably is with me
I’m Rick James bitch, ask Bobby and Whitney
In the hood where the maniacs will rob you to get me
Gettin‘ blown by Paris, Nicole, Lindsey, and Brittney
You shittin‘ me?

All in together now – That’s coke (x12)
