the New York Times hatte eine süsse Idee und hat 6 Invited kids from the second class, ein 7-Gänge-Menü im Wert von 220$ to feed. The responses include absolutely terrific! Wer gerne den ganzen Artikel lesen möchte, find it here.

The New York Times Magazine took six children from the second grade at P.S. 295 in Brooklyn to a restaurant. Not just any restaurant, though: they were treated to a seven-course tasting meal at Daniels, which runs $220 a head. Chef Daniel Boulud served them Smoked Paprika Cured Hamachi, Crispy Japanese Snapper, and Wagyu Beef Rib-Eye, among other dishes. These are Brooklyn kids, so they have plenty of restaurant experience, but none had been so such a fancy diner before. They are well-behaved, but they are also delightfully opinionated about their food.
