Friends, here is the first trailer for “X-Men: Future is Past”. The film is the sequel to “X-Men: First Class” and is based on the comic storyline “Days of Future Past” from the series “The Uncanny X-Men”. This takes place in a dystopian future in which mutants are held captive in internment camps and the Earth is ruled by the Sentinels. Among the prisoners is an aged Kitty Pride (played by Ellen Page in “X-Men: The Last Stand”) and she manages to send her consciousness, along with her supernatural powers, through time and penetrate the consciousness of her younger self.
She lives in the 60s and fights against the brotherhood of evil mutants that had already formed with Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) in “X-Men: First Decision”. As their next strike, they plan an assassination attempt against Senator Robert Kennedy, which, if successful, would lead to a mass wave of arrests of mutants and their internment. In “X-Men: Future is Past” many familiar faces from the first part can be seen again. Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, James McAvoy as Professor X and Jason Flemyng as Azazel are back. Let's hope that the story about Wolverine doesn't contradict the previous ones...
