In 2015, Wyrmwood by brothers Kiah and Tristan Roache-Turner was a small genre gem in more ways than one. Not only was the work self-directed and created in the garage over several years, but the look of the zombie carnage, a mixture of "Mad Max" and "Dawn of the Dead", was also convincing. Despite some shortcomings, the film was able to convince viewers and critics alike. A sequel was already discussed back then and now there is finally a second look and that in the form of a series. "Wyrmwood - Road of the Dead" by newcomer Kiah Roache-Turner showed us an Australia overrun by zombie hordes, where absolutely nothing and nobody is safe. That doesn't stop mechanic Barry (Jay Gallagher), however, from embarking on a jaunt across the country, armed to the teeth, to free his sister from the clutches of a wacky scientist who is using her for experiments. Here is a first clip of «Wyrmwood: Chronicles of the Dead», which gives us a little foretaste of what's to come in a total of 7 minutes. As usual, this is bloody, stylish and shows us brutal zombie horror. When and how the series will finally reach us is not yet known...

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising.
