Greg McLean's 2005 Australian slasher horror film Wolf Creek revitalized the Australian horror industry, becoming the number 1 Australian film in 2005 and the highest-grossing Australian 18+ flick ever. Director Greg McLean wanted to let go of the psychopath Mick (John Jarratt) once more to the youth and so far received extremely positive feedback for Wolf Creek 2. As in the first part, a trip into the vastness of the Australian outback in Wolf Creek 2 becomes a struggle for survival. The backpackers Rutger, Katharina and Paul visit the eponymous Wolf Creek crater. Their dream of adventure soon turns into a nightmare when they cross Mick's path. The vacationers try to escape from the killer, but are dragged to his hut, where he wants to kill them one after the other. In order to survive this horror trip, the abductees must not shrink from any atrocity.
