And once again a storm hit Switzerland, which led to floods in countless places. Fortunately, this now seems to be over and the clean-up work is in full swing everywhere. But the flood raises many questions, questions that flood my brain.
Why do many, many people who built too close to the water always complain after such a flood? And this over and over again? Even though they are aware of the dangers?
You're not the only ones. This property is also widespread among Windows users. Whining about spam floods, viruses and worms and broken code dams, systems are flooded worldwide. There is currently even a storm worm, which currently forms the largest botnet of all time.
No matter how tedious, how expensive, how terrible the effects are: "Anyone who goes into danger dies in it!" or in this case, those affected should have to pay for it themselves! Anyone who is part of a botnet should be immediately banned from the internet. It is not the weather or windows that are to blame for the disaster, but a lack of responsibility. Everyone chooses their own place where they settle down, buys the PC in the hope of being able to work with it easily, safely and cheaply. But one thing is easily forgotten very quickly: Technology needs people just as people need technology.
There are more than enough alternatives and options. But that's the way it is with us humans, with the complaining we console ourselves and carry on as if nothing had happened ...
