Movie Munchies shows us in two videos with various examples of well-known Disney animated classics, had as Walt Disney for years reused scenes from home movies and virtually unchanged for various films. Thus, for example, among many other scenes a dance scene from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) with new characters in Disney's animated version of Robin Hood (1973) to see again. In the industry it is quite common, that applying such recycling tricks in animated films, that the same is true for video games, there templates and segments are for example often taken from old Levels, to create new. Also in the music industry, there are many songs, which were sampled from older pieces. In a time before Toy Story, where animated films not yet on Computer, but emerged at the drawing board, had to paint any image on celluloid the entertainers. So it came, that in films, in which the budget or the time was short, old celluloid films were used as templates for new scenes and so reused. This is called rotoscoping Abzeichnungstechnik.
