Just in time for the “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct” release today, arte is broadcasting “Through The Never” this evening at 21:40 p.m. Lars Ulrich came up with the idea for the film together with James Hetfield. The drummer explains: “We had already explored the documentary format with “Metallica: Some Kind of Monster”. We wanted something that felt new and different.” That's why the concert film also contains the story about Roadie Trip, who is given the task of picking up something important for the band at the other end of the city and ends up in the middle of a violent confrontation between demonstrators and the police. In the destructive chaos, a masked rider appears. Trip must escape through a desolate, post-apocalyptic cityscape. On a unique stage designed exclusively for this concert film, Metallica will perform many of their most famous songs in front of tens of thousands of fans.
Only those who go their own way cannot be overtaken by anyone.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
