Friends, We've been waiting for the sequel to Tucker & Dale vs Evil for more than six years now. The stars were not always in a good position for the eponymous false killer duo. The indie production was well celebrated in small circles, but director Eli Craig and his producers did not find a gold mine, so there was always the question of how "Tucker & Dale vs Evil 2" should be financed. A question that now seems to have been officially resolved.
When the two main actors, Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk, were asked about a sequel, the sobering answer was always: "We don't think it will ever come to that." One of the producers noticed this, who then contacted the gentlemen and assured them that Tucker & Dale vs Evil 2 was more up-to-date than ever. The project is officially in the works and neither Labine nor Tudyk have anything against it. The guys even insisted on letting fans know about it at a recent convention. Yeah! The two chaotic people Tucker and Dale are returning and will soon be able to let coincidences decide how certain circumstances are interpreted. Time will tell whether another supposed slasher awaits us or whether the filmmakers will surprise us with a completely new concept. Tucker & Dale vs Evil 2 may not be out before 2017, but at least fans can now be assured that it will continue...
