Director Robert Egger won Best Director for The Witch at the Sundance Film Festival. The assembled critics also praised the excellent camera work. What united everyone, however, was fear. The pure fear. "The Witch" was diagnosed with absolute shocker potential - similar to this year's "It Follows". The action takes place in New England, USA, during the colonial era. A farmer decides to leave the closed and safe colony with his family to find his sole happiness in the wilderness. The family begins to grow food, goats are kept. But someone else lives in the loneliness of the woods and soon comes to visit the family. The basic mood in the trailer for "The Witch" alone gives rise to unease. Towards the end of the material the tempo picks up again, but still doesn't give away too much. A horror film to keep an eye on in 2016! However, there is no exact release date yet...
After God created the world, He created men and women. To save the whole thing from ruin, he invented humor.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
