Somehow "The Expendables 2" doesn't seem to be under a good star after last October Stuntman on the set a tragic death suffered, Sylvester Stallone has now confirmed the rumors that the sequel to the action hero summit will receive a youth rating. “The Expendables 2” will receive a PG-13 rating – unlike its predecessor, which was still voted on by fans. This means that less violence and less bad language can be expected in the sequel. A harder version will probably be released later on the DVD market.
Age ratings certainly don't determine the quality of a film, but the meeting of some of the toughest action stars ever should be really badass, right? On AICN extension revealed Stallone:
The film is fantastic with Van Damme turning in an inspired performance… Our final battle is one for the ages. The PG13 rumor is true, but before your readers pass judgment, trust me when I say this film is LARGE in every way and delivers on every level. This movie touches on many emotions which we want to share with the broadest audience possible, BUT, fear not, this Barbeque of Grand scale Ass Bashing will not leave anyone hungry… Sly.
Well, we hope for the best and expect the worst ... we'll see it in August.
