Ensiferum: One Man Army burns the Z7 down!

Ensiferum Nightmare Axegressor“ – said three times in quick succession is a spell, der drei finnische Bands auf die Bühne ruft! The Finnish Epic Battle Metal „Ensiferum“ are with their new album „One Man Army“ im Gepäck auf Tour und haben gleich zwei Bands aus ihrem Heimatland mit dabei, on the one hand Melodic Death Metal „Axegressor“ sowie andererseits die Düstermetaller „Nightmare“. Am letztem Samstagabend machte das finnische Trio Halt im ausverkauften Z7 in Pratteln und glänzte dabei mit jeweils hochenergetischen Auftritten. Especially Ensiferum tore a blast after another down and let it no stone unturned, although they had to give up their keyboardist Emmi Silvennoinen.

Ensiferum: One Man Army burns the Z7 down!

Did you really, Ensiferum that since the year 1995 exists? Im März veröffentlichte die Band ihr bereits sechstes Studioalbum mit dem Namen „One Man Army“ (the review to be found here) and the same name is their tour, mit welcher uns die Finnen beglücken. Bereits die Bandzusammenstellung dieser Tour sorgte für einen Extrakick, auch wenn das Dreierpaket an finnischen Bands auf den ersten Blick nicht sonderlich aussergewöhnlich erschien. But whoever always This tour has compiled, der muss wohl über eine ordentliche Portion Humor besitzen. Probably Finnish humor or was it all just a coincidence? However, diese Konstellation zog genügend Aufmerksamkeit auf sich, um die Konzertfabrik Z7 in Pratteln bis auf den letzten Platz zu füllen. What was offered to fans this evening, was absolutely great and had to shake the Z7 to its foundations! I love Finnish!

Insomnium live (22.03.2015) - Daughter of the moon @ Pratteln Z7

First came this evening „Axegressor“ and the audience was already so numerous present, as you can see it is rare for a support band. Das Lieblingsgetränk der Metalheads floss schon am frühen Abend reichlich, was aber der friedlichen Stimmung keinen Abbruch tat und so konnten sich bereits die erste Band über regen Publikumszuspruch freuen. Man fühlte sich bei der Darbietung der sechsköpfigen Truppe spontan ein wenig an die grossen Genrekollegen vonAmorphis“ recalls, whereas the sound more like the Finnish colleagues also of „Moonsorrow“ let think. More expansive and complex so was the song of material „Axegressor“, lediglich Shouter Jukka Pelkonen bekam nicht so richtigen Druck hinter seine Stimme und lieferte stellenweise ein etwas schwachbrüstiges Gegrunze ab. Dadurch wartete man unbewusst immer wieder auf eine Art Höhepunkt, which then did not come. But the audience did not care, it left already very well carried away and went willingly to the various passages Mitklatsch.

Ensiferum: One Man Army burns the Z7 down!

Noch mehr als ihre Vorgänger erinnerte der Sound an „Amorphis“ and the boys were able to captivate the audience also significantly more than the opener. Vom Bestehen her in die gleiche Altersklasse wie die Vorgängerband dieses Abends einzuordnen, teilen sich Insomnium überdies auch noch ein Bandmitglied mit Omnium Gatherum, for since 2011 bedient Gitarrist Markus Vanhala parallel zu seinem bald 20-jährigem Engagement bei Omnium Gatherum auch die Sechssaitige bei Insomnium. Respect!

Ensiferum - Warrior Without A War, 15/03/2015 @ Budapest, Hungary (hd)

Besonders die tragenden Stücke wie „While We Sleep“ and „The Promethean Song“ from the current album „Shadows of the Dying Sun“, with which they in Finland even on the 2. Managed to place in the charts, bleiben im Gedächtnis hängen. Fearless distribute the guys the shadows of the dying sun and are on their way to a new morning. Die äusserst aktive Stageperformance vermochte mitzureissen und wer die Songs kannte, anyway let himself drift of the melancholic melodies. So wenig träumerisch wie die Band auf der Bühne agierte auch das Publikum, there was clapped diligently to the back rows, a first mosh pit formed and the crowd surfers were en mass on the go. Ein durchwegs überzeugender Auftritt von Insomnium!

Ensiferum, Breaking The Law, live im Z 7 Pratteln, at the 21.03.15

This time the Finnish accordion Netta Skog wonder was there, the yes at once „Turisas“ grabbed the keys and replaced on this tour Emmi Silvennoinen.

Ensiferum: One Man Army burns the Z7 down!

Ein äusserst kurzweiliges Set, in which, with „Two of Spades“ a trip in a seventies disco, could not miss, even if not able to do anything with any of those present. The fans went off like Schmidt's cat and the Z7 threatened to fall apart. One of the highlights was the beginning of the addition block, who started unexpectedly: Die fünf Finnen tauschen die Instrumente einmal durch und so klopfte mit lockerer Hand der Gitarrist den Beat am Schlagzeug, während sich der Schlagzeuger die Klampfe umhängte, der Bassist das Akkordeon übernahm und sich die einzige Dame der Band am Mikro wiederfand um ein Cover von Judas Priests „Breaking The Law“ to give the best. Die Lässigkeit der Durchführung nötigte schon Respekt ab – alone lacked a little of the audience, dessen jüngere anwesende Semester augenscheinlich mit dem Metal-Klassiker grösstenteils nichts anfangen konnten und anstatt mitzugrölen einfach doof aus der Wäsche schauten.

Ensiferum live (22.03.2015) - Iron @ Pratteln Z7

With the addition of block it was but then again right around, because there brought Ensiferum their right Firecracker among the people. With titles such as the great „Token of Time“ and „Iron“ sass der Text im Publikum bombenfest und die Band auf der Bühne wurde beinahe übertönt. Overall, the live package has therefore made around Ensiferum again really fun and all three bands offered each a damn strong show, insist on traveling this evening all really! Each band did its best, aber besonders die Jungs und das Mädel der Epic-Folk-Melodic-Death-Warmetal Band „Ensiferum“ offered an absolutely brilliant performance! The Finnish bands prove once again, that the metal from the far north is still a benchmark. An diesem Abend gab es Finland’s Finest! I love Finnish!

Album Review: Ensiferum – One Man Army

The Finns come every three years, therefore, with a new album, their sword-bearing fans from around the world to rally again around. For the sixth time rush „Ensiferum“ Now into the fray, this time with the album „One Man Army“. The quintet has done a lot in the background, so you might expect, that musically much has changed in the folk metallers. „One Man Army“ It features a typical for the band arsenal of illustrious ideas and melodies. The band seems to have re-packed their aggressiveness initial slaughter and does not come so tired of war therefore as the unspeakable predecessor „Unsung Heroes“ with its pink cover, that after a few runs, dusty in my shelf! At „One Man Army“ does not only cover, musically can convince fully the disc!

Ensiferum - One Man Army

If you look at the framework of the sixth prank, has with him „Ensiferum“ changed a lot. Until recently, the band was still with „Spinel Farm Records“ under contract, today must now „Metal Blade“ fortunate, to welcome the Finns in their ranks. Turned for the predecessor „Unsung Heroes“ yet Hiili Hiilesmaa as producer the Knöpfchen, was on „One Man Army“ Now Anssi Kippo responsible for, who laid incidentally a more than decent job of the day. Even the artwork artist was exchanged: Where the famous Kristian Wåhlin alias Necrolord Although a casual, albeit perspective used almost infantile style, one must be extremely satisfied with the result of Gyula Havancsák. Although less original, but fits like chalk and cheese, heroic, powerful and also cliched the cover is down. So you could have the presumption, that has also done a lot of music in the folk metallers.

Ensiferum - Band

One straight away, all fans can breathe easy and be set to one hour best entertainment, Because „Ensiferum“ show powerful gas and deliver some of the best songs of their career. „One Man Army“ is one of the strongest albums of Finns, which since 2009 have a stable line-up. The quintet has fortunately attracted the hardness again tidy and sound more powerful than ever. The production is excellent this time, the tracks come bulky therefore, radiate a lot of energy and the song writing is absolutely first class. Although one knows some song structures and melodies from earlier albums, but the songs seem fresh, have closed and simply brilliant choruses, which are never too cheesy. In an atmospheric intro followed with „Axe Of Judgement“ a speediger opener, „Heathen Horde“ bewitches with a nice folky tinged main theme and makes with his choirs and melodic guitars just really fun! The pre-release single and title track „One Man Army“ able to convince gone through tape.

Ensiferum "One Man Army" (Official Video)

„Burden Of The Fallen“ provides another album in history is the calming influence, before to be „Warrior Without A War“ and „Cry For The Earth Bounds“ Tighten the melodies back on and the heroic epic proportion is again clearly screwed up. Then it's literally round and the Folk Party accepts full ride on. „Two of Spades“ (a Motörhead bow?) is the ideal soundtrack, comes with a lot of speed and therefore involving Western / disco-pop reminiscences us „Ensiferum“ very large cinema around the ears. The banjo sounds and „Dschingis Khan“-Bonds are just great and quite surprising, given the Suomis and conjures up the listeners with his disco stick midsection a wide grin on his face. „My Ancestor’s Blood“ forms a cleverly constructed and exciting two-tone and „Descendants, Defiance, Domination“ begins very quietly and is from the keyboard, borne clear guitars and a powerful bass. Charming the song slowly builds, Clear vocals and metallic screams alternate and „Ensiferum“ mix in an intelligent way all their known Trademarks. „The maiden of Pohjola“ however, it is almost expected „experimental“ become of the album. a Country-Song of a trip to the (Finnish) Tango is taking and the delicate female voice Netta Skog (ex-Turisas) is refined. An unusual as worthy conclusion of the disc, showing the humor of the band.

Ensiferum - Logo

If you buy the disc, you should make sure, at least to buy the double CD, for what was on offer on the second disc of bonus tracks, rolled again it all down! With the cover of Western songs by Frankie Laine from the year 1958, that also the theme song for the Western series „Rawhide“ (Rawhide) Was, a song has been created, reminiscent of the best times of the Leningrad Cowboys. „War Metal“ then can get rid of the warrior, the uncompromising with his sword massacred all, which arises in his way. „Candour and Lies“ is the English version of the Above „The maiden of Pohjola“, but this time not with Netta Skog, but a rough, male voice, which gives the song a different facet. With „Bonus Song“ we get again a full broadside of humor of the band to hear, with the many censorship „Peeps“ the track is a quite successful conclusion of the bonus Silberling.

ARVE Error:
thats all folks! - Video not available

The album „One Man Army“ convinced carefully forged Weapons and solid martial arts. The album is a real crusher. Who to „Unsung Heros“ has feared, that it is now slowly downhill, is mistaken! Here it can be said with a clear conscience, it on „One Man Army“ no catastrophic failure is to complain. The sixth album „Ensiferum“ has become a hit. The swordtail have recognized their sound and their qualities and can now play perfect their talent. In recent years, not all smaller experiments have worked, but „One Man Army“ Everything fits together and the album sounds so, as it would be with a lot of creativity, Been added soul and passion. This is perhaps one of the greatest compliments, you can give a band ever. Who can abgewinnen the genre fantasy folk metal something, for waiting here with the first annual highlight! The Finns have again risen neatly to rate, schmissige Songs, no sagging, beautiful melodies, Speed, Pressure, heroischer Kitsch, all that distinguishes this disk and thus should cheer the anticipation of upcoming live activities tidy. „Ensiferum“ set several times on heroic sing-along choruses and so join the army of one so several comrades, no mercenary, but a committed community. „Ensiferum“ seems to have the aggressiveness initial battles repacked. Man to Live looks in March!

Heath Festival 2013 – In the battle with Ensiferum, Turisas, Equilibrium, Suidakra und Frosttide

the Heath Festival draws plundering the country and is probably the largest Viking- and Pagan Metal-Sause this late summer. Therefore, probably all Viking, Horn drinkers and swordtail the last Sunday in their calendars painted to stand out from among iron Finnish double tip guide „Ensiferum“ and „Turisas“ to pounce on the battlefield. Also present were two German Folk Metal instances, Namely „Equilibrium“ and „Suidakra“ and as special guests fueled the Finnish Melodic / Folk Metal „Frost Tide“ the legendary Z-7 in Pratteln, Basel really a. The Z-7 was virtually sold out and no hard metallic Drinking Horn Stemmer were present, no, the fair sex was surprisingly well represented in the audience. the Heath Festival has evolved in recent years to absolute tour instance and has also placed last Sunday, the Z-7 in rubble!

Heath Festival 2013 - In the battle!

One would think, that the metal fans in this country so slowly enough with small festivals pagan imprint, but far; Z 7 is the packed, as this Sunday evening, the festival Heath 2013 invites to party. And said Abfeiern is probably one of the main reasons, that the long-haired people are inclined so many of. A beer after another travels across the counter and it is everywhere always louder and funnier. promptly at 18:30 Watch the lights go out, is the stage „Frost Tide„, which start right really hard. The 5-member band has 2009 musically active and is able to inspire the audience from the first note, although the band on the continent is not well known. This circumstance seems the band but rather to motivate and then the guys take advantage of the half-hour of her performance at an exceptionally good impression to. The stage presence of singer Joni Snoro and keyboardist Felipe Munoz is absolutely amazing and the whole band is an absolute revelation this evening. „Frost Tide“ leave no stone unturned, the crowd into so right and it is certainly worthwhile, to see the men once again on another occasion.

Suidakra - Wartunes (Live 2013-09-29 - Z7 - Pratteln - Heath Festival)

Shortly after seven entered the five of Ruhrpottler „Suidakra“ the stage. For me it was also the first time, got to see the men live and what to see, was absolutely strong! Great 40 Minutes with songs like „Inner Sanctum“, „Isle of Skye“, „Dead Man’s Reel“, „Pendragon’s Fall“, „March of Conquest“ and „Wartunes“ from their last studio album were a little breath. Singer Arkadius Antonik has a great stage presence and succeeds, fully draw all those present in its spell. The crowd is cheering and bang like crazy and if someone has given, when not in the „Frost Tide“ the spark has jumped, was the latest on „Suidakra“ Fire and Flame. Such enthusiasm is seen not happen every day and it would have been expected, that only when „Ensiferum“ and „Turisas“ so lacking, but far from it, the quartet from Dusseldorf burns the Z-7 already down completely. Overall, this was an absolutely convincing performance and the band had literally conquered completely with their funky sound the audience in no time.

Heath Festival 2013 - In the battle with Turisas

After the appearance of great „Suidakra“, The moment has come for „Equilibrium“ with their Epic Folk / Viking Metal. And here the bear began only really quilting. The lady and gentlemen to Rampensau Robse and songwriting mastermind René had so many new song in luggage, as „Forest Shrine“, „Dwarf Hammer“ and „Skyrim“, dem Skyrim Theme, which probably also grabbed the last nerd in the hall and all on the last EP „Forest Shrine“ are found. Munich's Finest spray a chaotic atmosphere, both on stage and in front of it: The raging mosh pit and Pogo's hot! Met bottles find their way into the audience, just like drinking horns and stretched fists the way in the air. The five-member band has a total of an extremely convincing Concert with much enthusiasm and lots of energy ner throws you to the hungry crowd hits like „Blood in the eye“, „The storm“, „Under the Oak“, „With“ and „Undefeated“ against. Meute thanks es, by bringing the Z-7 to boil over. „Equilibrium“ were admittedly refreshingly personable and harder than thought. Really exorbitant playful mediated Munich to the public anyway, that not only the audience had fun at the show, but also the musicians themselves. From my perspective, the band had earned the title of the best band of the night.

Equilibrium - Undefeated (Final) - Live Heidenfest 2013 - Paris

Whether beaten by „Equilibrium“-Battle probably permanent nor strength for the headliner? For „Turisas“ well in any case, because even if one of the Music artistic not reflect what can abgewinnen – ausser viel triumphales Tataa – so you have to recognize it, that the band on stage right hermacht what, both visually and action moderately. The Norsemen Knowledge, what fun on stage means and so it was time for the angemalte Mannen. „Turisas“ could also play very quickly in the hearts of fans. The sound is huge, even if the voice of singer Mathias „Warlord“ is Nygård sometimes quietly. The song „For Your Own Good“ let the hands go up in the air and LUDT to party. Also for Epikfans there "To Holmgard And Beyond"Food to party. Can generally „Turisas“ burning little and show a lot of professionalism on stage. Again and again, the audience is encouraged to give everything, and this will be rewarded with great dedication the fans. although „Turisas“ many long songs have written in their career and now is now enough material there, to inspire the masses to very long, there is just 60 Minutes action on stage. In the end, with „Stand Up and Fight“ drawn a line was and remains a raging mob, a good show with very good light, scored sound and stage presence.

Heath Festival 2013 - In the battle with Ensiferum

As one might think, that „Ensiferum“ subsequently find it difficult, to maintain the tension, but they really have an incredible number of loyal fans, freak out even when the umpteenth gig again and again. Thus, it was (Finally) Time, for epic „Ensiferum“, the second headliner that evening, encounters which are often at events pagan imprint. „Ensiferum“ from Finland play a pretty catchy blend of folk and metal, in exactly this mixture moves the audience tonight apparently totally dependent and so the end of the evening was more than energetic. As usual shirtless, dressed in kilts and with the typical war paint on his face, who has also missed one or the other fan, get the four guys from the far north to „Ensiferum, Ensiferum“-Choirs on stage, the girl wearing a groovy leather gear. For the next hour does not happen much unusual and above the fans would probably annoy even more, but the conclusion should still provide a surprise. The first makes the troops with „Into Battle“ from album „Iron“, but there are also newer material in the form of „In My Sword I Trust“ as well as „Unsung Heroes“ the current, album of the same. Two-thirds of the gigs are disputed with older material, including compulsory pieces like „From Afar“, „Neptune“ and „Twilight Tavern“.

Video Thumbnail
Ensiferum - Neptune - @Heidenfest/Z7, Pratteln, 29/09/2013

The audience are noted no signs of fatigue and experienced and energetic quartet pulls his set by, the songs sound clean and tidy thanks to hew totally, Hair and crowd surfers flying in masses through the area. Amazing is always the technical skill of the musicians, impeccable and flawless. Finally the lady and gentlemen access backstage, conjure huge sombreros, to this same set up and the cover song „Roll“ to entertain the crowd in a rather curious way. We see a Petri Lindroos as an entertainer, accompanied by his faithful companions Hinkka Sami and Markus Toivonen, which incite the crowd to dance to this song. A great end, with a wonderful twinkle! Once again more confirmed „Ensiferum“, that they are one of the few bands, are really capable, to guide the reins and show, that they are the perfect headliner for a festival. So were „Ensiferum“ a worthy headliner, which is quiet a bit more time would have allowed to give, to draw on their large repertoire. At the same time, it was a fun and groovy of the overall successful festivals, the only really positive impressions left behind. In addition to the sovereign and polite Security, the fast service to the beverage outlets, the peaceful and joyful festival visitors it is finally again the successful organization emphasized. That was just perfect!

Race with the wind
The night is ending
They will win
when the sun is rising
Stories have been told for years about the rebel men
riding in the lands of unknown
No one has ever seen their furious beings
and their secret remains untold

Their deeds shall be heard
Their legend will live forever
They are the Guardians Of Fate

As they shouted their last battle cries their destiny was to be dead
Their future was in no one’s hands like the prophet of the moon had said

Those who travelled far away from home, they’ll never return
and those who crossed the seas of hope, they all will burn

I have come to unfold your mind
in my veins runs the poison wild
in the streams of mountains I flow
I have opened the doors for Unleashed and endless hate
it will burn like the raging green flames
inside a man dwell secrets so cold

Through the dreadful storms, across the frozen oceans
I have come from the dark lands with sorrow in my hands
The firewind rages in the sky
and my luminious sword hungers for more
I will leave no one alive
For I am the Slayer of light

I… I will break your will
I… I will crush your faith
I… I will slay your dreams
I will reclaim the stars and I will tear your precious world apart
I will tear it apart

I will pull everything with me under the Surface
and all the screams will fade into my dreams
Fall now! Dying light!
I will burn away the ground beneath your feet
and all will be vanished in the Darkness
Dying light! Fall now!
and let the night arrive

A raven came to me
Spoke to me in my dream
A long lost prophecy
A forgotten legacy

Echoes of yesterday
Won’t let these dreams fade away
All the beauty I adored
At the edge of the world

Across the universe
Time is to be reversed
No shelter can be found
To this fate, we are bound

Behold the final hour
The last times will be dour
All life falls into gorge
of the end of the world

Burning Skies
On the vengeance’s night
Devastating scythe
Of the Ancient light

I saw the might
Of the ancient Light
And the beauty of the perishing world
Theres no tomorrow
We have been warned

Across the universe
Time is to be reversed
No shelter can be found
To this fate, we are bound

Behold the final hour
The last times will be dour
All life falls into gorge
Of the end of the world

The sky’s bird struck fire
Made a flame flare up
The north wind burnt the clearing
The north-east quite consumed it:
It burnt all the trees to ash and reduced them to dust.

Burning skies
On the vengeance’s night
Devastating scythe
Of the ancient Light

I saw the might
Of the ancient Light
And the beauty of the perishing world
Theres no tomorrow

Ensiferum – Are your ready for Tata dada Taataa daadaa?

It is known that the cult, Finnish folk metallers Ensiferum on tour not bad. Your fans gave the guys mid-April to legendary Z7 a smashing appearance! Singer Petri Lindroos did his job without the necessary charisma and the active part went to the last founding member Markus Toivonen and especially the bassist Sami Hinkka, acted the corresponding wild and like a madman on stage. Ensiferum were actually Support for Children of Bodom, which were able also to convince, but just do not over came and so Ensiferum played this loose on the wall! Banger heart, What more?

On Tuesday, the 12. April dieses Monats waren Children Of Bodom, Ensiferum and Machinae Supremacy under the Ugly World Tour 2011 guest at the Z7 in Pratteln and left it like explosive fun tidy. First of Machinae Supremacy allowed with their SID Metal, representing a mix of melodic hard rock and chiptune and as a key feature tunes from the period and style of the Commodore 64 used. So should the guys make the soundtrack for the computer game Jets'n'Guns and thus utilize practically always a SidStation, containing the famous SID chip of the C-64. Me could not really convince, so I was looking forward to the successor of Sound: Ensiferum. rang early as the intro of the last Ensiferum disc was clear, that the mob would austicken equal before the stage…

Before stage a mosh pit formed, in which the Finns were celebrated as they deserve. Ensiferum played a set, which fairly distributed over the previous releases and this although the band on disc today acoustic and folky sounds as yet to debut times. It started with this „From Afar“ and „Into Battle“, „Token of Time“ and „Twilight Tavern“ were going straight ahead and made this evening a lot of fun . Singer Petri Lindroos does its job well without the necessary charisma. While it falls to, that the good Peter is anything but a Frontsau. Mostly he placed one foot on the monitor and scolds fiercely into the microphone, he seldom takes it away, leaving his blond hair a few steps behind circling. The active part is therefore the last founding member Markus Toivonen and bassist Sami Hinkka hanging, corresponding wild act this on stage :)

Ensiferum - Intro - From Afar @ Z7 - Switzerland - 12.04.2011

On stage, the Norsemen had their blond hair extensively circuits and in a competition in synchronized fear they would certainly forefront. Of course, the audience left no slouch and prompt an ordinary moshpit was as good as you can, and celebrated with „Guardians of Fate, „Neptune“ and „Lai Lai Hei“ the heavy support from properly. „Iron“ there was still an encore and the Z7 could once again shake up really rough.

The case sets the band as outfit on skirts in the style of the Finnish flag completes the appearance. Gorgeous, this nearly hour musical firestorm. Here no eye should be dry in no gebleiben Ensiferum Fan. Dominant the Finns slice through the selected Setlist:

  1. From Afar
  2. Into Battle
  3. Token of Time
  4. Twilight Tavern
  5. Guardians of Fate
  6. Neptune
  7. Lai Lai Hei
  8. Iron

What I also appreciated was that night, that Messrs but relatively tight-lipped over came and thus more time for Music remained. So determined to go some viewers homecoming with a massive muscles in the neck and numerous bruises. Today, you could definitely do a really great performance by the band with. One, with the original Heavy Metal has with its rapid and fresh kind, despite their stylistic still very much in common. And I can only recommend to Ensiferum to watch in the near future! DBD: The Longest Journey – Ensiferum

Ensiferum - The Longest Journey (Heathen Throne Part II)

„Could my ruin have come,
my day of trouble have arrived
in these Tuonela cabins
these abodes of the dead land?“ – Kalevala

Far Beyond The Dark Stream pagan souls will
Roam those cold lands wild and free
Wait for the sign; a blood red sky
Then beyond the Dark Stream we will ride

The path of mortals
So narrow and brutal
Only bravest of them all
Will find true valours

Decaying souls of men
Who trust in false omens
Will drown in the stream
With their untrue beliefs

He’s been drifting
For so long
Searching for the land
Where Heroes roam

In the horizon
The last ray of light
A breeze from The Other side
Before he so

Dividing walls of stone
Eternal Heathen Throne
Beneath the cold starlight
Revealed for the purest sight

Through constant affliction
Towards alleviations
When a searing star is near
Carry on, you’re almost here

Far beyond the Dark Stream we’ll meet again
Across the wilderness and we will be home

The longest journey of them all
Has to be made all alone
A flame in the skyline reaching the stars
Guiding the seeker through the night

Far beyond the Dark Stream we’ll meet again
Across the wilderness and we will be home
Gather your strength, don’t be afraid
Far beyond the Dark Stream, we’ll meet again
