I’m an Asshole – Dennis Leary

Meine Verehrung für Dennis Leary hab ich in the vault expressed on several occasions, Now it's time, best known for his appearance by reinzustellen here. Fuck the whole political correctness and all the hypocritical posturing. yeah, i’m an asshole and I’m proud of it! :)

Folks, I’d like to sing a song about the American Dream
About me, about you
About the way our American hearts beat way down in the bottom ofour chests
About that special feeling we get in the cockles of our hearts
Maybe below the cockles,
Maybe in the sub cockle area,
Maybe in the liver, maybe in the kidneys,
Maybe even in the colon, We don’t know

I’m just a regular Joe, with a regular job
I’m your average white, suburbanite slop
I like football and Porn and books about war
I got an average house, with a nice hardwood floor
My wife and my job, my kids and my car
My feet on my table, and a Cuban cigar

But sometimes that just ain’t enough to keep a man like meinterested
(Oh no, NO WAY, uh uh)
No I gotta go out and have fun at someone else’s expense
(woah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah)
I drive really slow in the ultra fast lane
While people behind me are going insane

I’m an asshole (he’s an asshole)
I’m an asshole (he’s an asshole, such an asshole)

I use public toilets and I piss on the seat
I walk around in the summer time saying “how about this heat”

I’m an asshole (he’s an asshole)
I’m an asshole (he’s the world’s biggest asshole)

Sometimes I park in the handicap spaces
While handicapped people make handicap faces

I’m an asshole (he’s an asshole)
I’m an asshole (he’s a real fucking asshole)

Maybe I shouldn’t be singing this song
Ranting and raving and carrying on
Maybe they’re right when they tell me I’m Wrong
Close

I’m an asshole (he’s an asshole)
I’m an asshole (he’s the world’s biggest asshole)

you know what I’m gonna do
I’m gonna get myself a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado convertible
Hot pink, with whale skin hubcaps
And all leather cow interior
And make brown baby seal lions for head lights (yeah)
And I’m gonna drive in that baby at 115 miles per hour
Gettin‘ 1 mile per gallon,
Sucking down Quarter Pounder cheeseburgers from McDonald’s
In the old fashioned non-biodegradable styrofoam containers
And when I’m done sucking down those greeseball burgers
I’m gonna wipe my mouth with the American flag
And then I’m gonna toss the styrofoam containers right out theside
And there ain’t a goddamn thing anybody can do about it
You know why, Because we’ve got the bombs, that’s why
2 words, Nuclear fuckin’ weapons, OK?
Russia, Germany, Romania, they can have all the democracy theywant
They can have a big democracy cakewalk
Right through the middle of Tinian Square and it won’t make alick of difference
Because we’ve got the bombs, OK?
John Wayne’s not dead, he’s frozen, and as soon as we find a curefor cancer
We’re gonna thaw out the duke and he’s gonna be pretty pissedoff
You know why,
Have you ever taken a cold shower, well multiply that by 15million times
That’s how pissed off the duke’s gonna be!
I’m gonna get the Duke, and John Castive Eddies,
and Lee Marvin, and Sam Peckenthorp, and a case of whiskey, anddrive down to Texas…

(hey! you know, you really are an asshole!)
Why don’t you just shut up and sing the song, pal?
I’m an asshole (he’s an asshole)
I’m an asshole (he’s the world’s biggest asshole)

A-S-S-H-O-L-E

Von Bondies-C'mon C'mon-with lyrics

On another day c’mon c’mon
With these ropes I tied can we do no Wrong
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

With my teeth locked down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c’mon c’mon)
Was it right to leave? (c’mon c’mon)
Will I ever learn? (c’mon c’mon)
(c’mon c’mon c’mon c’mon)

As I make my way c’mon c’mon
These better nights that seem too long
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

With my teeth locked down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c’mon c’mon)
Was it right to leave? (c’mon c’mon)
Will I never learn? (c’mon c’mon)
(c’mon c’mon c’mon c’mon)

Is it safe to say? (c’mon c’mon)
Was it right to leave? (c’mon c’mon)
Will I never learn? (c’mon c’mon)
(c’mon c’mon c’mon c’mon)

And know this day these deepened wounds don’t heal so fast
Can’t hear me croon of a million lies that speak no truth
Of a time gone by that now is through

No Cure For Cancer – Dennis Leary

Love Friends of the Crypt, I can tell you this Video unter keinen Umständen vorenthalten, Dennis Leary I already had with his series „Rescue Me“ here in the crypt, nun hier mit seiner ersten Standup Comedy Programm aus de frühen 90er „No Cure For Cancer“. And it gibts the Peek-a command! :)

Dennis is not a sacred cow, and in his live program he interacts with so pretty much everything from, was „John Doe“ (American John Doe) dear is. Das Land der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten ist in Learys bissigen Attacken bevölkert von „urbanite slobs“, Which „football, Porn and books about war“ mögen, die auf Behindertenparkplätzen parken, „while handicapped people make handicapped faces“ und deren Idole erzreaktionäre Schauspieler und Regisseuren wie John Wayne und John Cassavetes sind. Weapons fetishism, Jingoism, boundless, rücksichtsloser Konsum, persönliche Sinnsuche auf der Therapeutencouch undBigger is better‘-Denken: All das nimmt Leary gnadenlos aufs Korn und entlarvt politisch Korrektes als Auswüchse puritanischer Verklemmtheit und spiessbürgerlicher Doppelmoral.

And all this is Rampensau Denis Leary from a breath-taking pace, dass einem zunächst Hören und Sehen vergeht. Doch wer sich auf den Bühnen-Wüterich einlässt, discovered with him a master of his craft – gegen seinen aggressiven Witz wirken die plumpen Geschmacklosigkeiten eines Ingo Appelt oder Michael Mittermeier äusserst blass.

„No Cure For Cancer“ bietet Satire für Fortgeschrittene und ist aktueller den jeVoraussetzung für die erfolgreiche Teilnahme an Learys akustischer Tour de Force sind gute Englischkenntnisse, denn selbst wer des Englischen mächtig ist, wird sich die verbalen Maschinengewehrsalven sicherlich mehrfach anhören müssen, to also mitzubekommen really every punch. And now, Thank you, thank you and Fuck you! I love Dennis Leary!

Rescue Me

Does anyone besides me the series „Rescue Me“ by and starring Denis Leary? Probably not. I can strongly recommend you only, because now it has the so-called drama series blossomed into something, I can safely dub as favorite series. The main characters are firefighters of New York City Fire Department. Primarily focuses is their private life, Sexualleben und oft wenig sympathische Charakterzüge wie Chauvinismus, Homophobia and so on and with black humor is balanced here between drama and comedy. Obwohl ihre persönlichen und auch psychischen Probleme teilweise durch die Anschläge vom 11. September 2001 und weitere Schicksalsschläge bedingt sind, is it to classic anti-hero and somehow Love I just anti-hero.

Main character is a firefighter Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary). Neben familiären Problemen kämpft er mit Alkoholismus, Drug addiction and hallucinations – insbesondere führt er oft lange Gespräche mit seinem Cousin, the most 11. September 2001 died.

More 2009 has commenced and every Monday after midnight has the permanent slot. Übrigens liebe Vertriebsfirmen und Rechteinhaber: Where the DVD remain the series of the three previous seasons? Ich wäre ein dankbarer Abnehmer. As a small tribute here Music from the series leader, The song comes from the band „Von Bondies“ and means „C’Mon C’Mon“:

Denis Leary Remembers Denis Leary Movies
