Beim ersten Teil des Remake waren die Special-Effects kein Vergleich zum ursprünglichen Film – wobei der schlicht grossartig war, wenn man sich mal überlegt, welche Möglichkeiten es früher gab. Natürlich mein ich nicht den Mist mit Mark Wahlberg, sondern die Streifen aus den 70ern. Der zweite Teil war dann auch noch ganz okay, wobei der schon nicht mehr nötig gewesen wäre, aber auf mich hört ja keiner. Und so wird es natürlich auch einen dritten Teil geben, wobei ich einfach nicht das Gefühl los werde, dass es den nur wegen Woody Harrelson gibt – was aber auch nicht unbedingt schlecht ist, denn eigentlich mag ich Woody Harrelson. In «War for the Planet of the Apes» erleiden der intelligente Affe Caesar und sein Gefolge bei einem blutigen Konflikt herbe Verluste. Wie es mit den Urtrieben so ist – sie treiben den Wunsch nach Rache ordentlich nach oben auf der Wunschleiter. Aus irgendeinem Grund begibt sich Caesar anschliessend auf eine mystische Reise (?), die ihn aber letztendlich auch nur wieder zum Colonel führt – schliesslich braucht es am Ende solch eines Filmes natürlich eine epische Schlacht. Und in der geht es um nicht weniger als die Zukunft des Planeten! Mit dabei sind unter anderem Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Judy Greer, Steve Zahn, Karin Konoval, Terry Notary, Gabriel Chavarria und Chad Rook. Kinostart ist der 3. August 2017…

I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever
