Liebe Freunde der Gruft, ich kann euch dieses Video unter keinen Umständen vorenthalten, Dennis Leary hatte ich ja schon mit seiner Serie «Rescue me» here in the crypt, nun hier mit seiner ersten Standup Comedy Programm aus de frühen 90er «No Cure For Cancer». Und darauf gibts den Guck-Befehl! 
Dennis ist keine Kuh heilig und in seinem Live-Programm rechnet er mit so ziemlich allem ab, was «John Doe» (der amerikanischen Otto Normalverbraucher) lieb und teuer ist. Das Land der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten ist in Learys bissigen Attacken bevölkert von «urbanite slobs», welche «football, porno and books about war» mögen, die auf Behindertenparkplätzen parken, «while handicapped people make handicapped faces» und deren Idole erzreaktionäre Schauspieler und Regisseuren wie John Wayne und John Cassavetes sind. Waffenfetischismus, Hurra-Patriotismus, grenzenloser, rücksichtsloser Konsum, persönliche Sinnsuche auf der Therapeutencouch und ‹Bigger is better›-Denken: All das nimmt Leary gnadenlos aufs Korn und entlarvt politisch Korrektes als Auswüchse puritanischer Verklemmtheit und spiessbürgerlicher Doppelmoral.
