Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine tries to put his grief over the late ex Megadeth drummer Nick Menza to express deeply shocked. During the Megadeth concert at Rock'N Derby on May 22, Dave asked the audience for a minute's silence for his former bandmate and said at the end of the show: "I usually always say: 'You were great, we were Megadeth.' But Nick , You were great. I love you buddy." As Mustaine explains in an interview with the radio station "Q103", Menza and he were always very close, contrary to rumors to the contrary: "I think when you are so close to someone, the love is greater, the anger more hot-blooded and the grief so much deeper. I think if that's the case, then you know someone really means a lot to you."
