In this country, the directing work of the two Frenchmen only came through the FSK exam. However, Turbine Medien promises to make the film available in the uncut original version on December 19th. In the following five-minute behind the scenes video, Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo let us look behind the scenes of their horror prequel. Because instead of continuing the long-lived horror franchise in the here and now, both dare to take a giant leap back, namely to the time before Tobe Hooper's classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre. "Our film is a brutal and disillusioned road movie that uses a completely new narrative style within the TCM universe," promise the two inside directors. The film stars Lili Taylor from The Conjuring, who fills in for Angela Bettis, as well as Sam Coleman, Sam Strike, James Bloor, Jessica Madsen and Stephen Dorff (Alone in the Dark) as the degenerate village sheriff.
