Lots of action, karikierte Figuren, an odd couple, bit Crime and here and there a spark social criticism. But merely not too much. The films were, quite entertaining for their time and then you liked Mel Gibson in Hollywood also very happy and Danny Glover was already too old for this shit. And the trailer for the series does not even so much wrong, it is taken up much of the films, be it with respect to the rather random killing urge of Martin Riggs or the initial Aversie by Roger Murtaugh his new partner. Many scenes here, we know from the film and like - but maybe that's the problem, why the trailer and the idea of the series times as I do not like. And Damon Wayans, brrrrrr! Will probably superficial Entertainment, without, that it hurts, if it once but is a bit deeper…
