In the very first fight, Lee accidentally pulled a fighting stick through his face. After shooting the scene, Bruce Lee immediately took care of his supposed victim in an exemplary manner. But Jackie Chan was no longer in pain at that point. Which didn't stop him from pretending to lie in his idol's arms for as long as possible. Incidentally, Bruce Lee was so plagued by remorse that he later promised Chan he would get a role in any of his future films.
