For Jack Hyer, it was love at first sight: After seeing his girlfriend for the first time, he wrote in his travel journal: “I’m going to marry this girl, someday.” That was on September 30, 2010. Since then, travel-crazy Jack has visited 26 countries, mostly without his girlfriend Becca, who had to cram for her studies. The globetrotter in love used his time alone to film a marriage proposal for his sweetheart. He sings to the music of the classic “I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by the Scottish 80s band “The Proclaimers” in front of the Hagia Sophia Mosque in Istanbul or between the ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
