Friends, here's the brand new trailer too Elysium, Neill Blomkamp's second film after District 9, starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley. In Elysium, Blomkamp knits his mixture of his very own, realistic imagery, crazy effects, social criticism and the subject of immigration into intelligent science fiction, which apparently only he can manage at the moment. Apparently, Blomkamp spins the plot of District 9 in Elysium more or less with other characters: At the end of District 9, Wikus van de Merwe sat as an alien in the slums of South Africa and hoped for a return to "high society", in the latest film That's exactly where Matt Damon fights his way, to Elysium. In addition to a lot of action, modern equipment and explosions, we can hopefully also expect a dramatic fight, because Matt Damon, who has been pimped up to become a combat robot, on the one hand and the clean woman manager Jodie Foster on the other promise a brilliant exchange of blows. In addition to these two actors, there are also Sharlto Copley as mercenary Kruger and William Fichtner as Elysian politician John Carlyle. Neill Blomkamp has a great talent for cutting-edge visuals and also tells a story that has substance and tears apart all the lifestyle luxury bullshit with fat laser bangs. Hell yeah! I'm excited! One of the most interesting films of the year awaits us with Elysium. Take a look for yourself! Every science fiction fan should mark the theatrical release date of Elysium. If you want to see more, here's another one Viral page with a few more visuals ...
In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station that is disguised as a massive floating city called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. The people of Earth are desperate to escape the planet's crime and poverty, and they critically need the state-of-the-art medical care available on Elysium - but some in Elysium will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve their citizens 'luxurious lifestyle.
The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max Coburn (Matt Damon), a 29 year old ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission - one that pits him against Elysium's mayor, Secretary Jessica Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces - but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.
