Christmas is the time of horror. At the latest when Aunt Trudi and Uncle Hans are philosophizing about God and the world again at the party and one is really sick again from all the gibberish and excessive drunkenness, one wishes to be in a better place. So why not harden yourself for what will happen in the holy days?
The "Metal Coloring Book for the Heavy Family" is an album in the classic Panini collector's book format with pictures for headbangers to color in. The drawings are based on the classic children's coloring book, the motifs are naive pictures of metal family members in the covers of well-known metal albums. For all families who prefer to go to the Wacken Open Air instead of the Center Parcs during the holidays and don't hear Peter Alexander but Tom Angelripper at Christmas, the first coloring book suitable for youngsters has finally been published.
According to the alphabet, Christopher Tauber has polished up the most beautiful, best-known and also some embarrassing metal covers and given the bands a new name. Mom, Dad, brother, sister, everyone has their place in this family album, even Grandpa, who - as fittingly - is based on Ozzy Osbourne's “No rest for the Wicked”.
Kiss becomes carnival here, Anthrax pose like aunts, Slayer becomes nonsense and Metallica's “Master of Puppets” cemetery becomes home as a row house settlement.
The draftsman has certainly allowed himself a few nasty swipes here and there when he quickly reinterprets Ted Nugent as a nightmare and the Scorpions as snot. But actually it's about something else: No matter if Black, Death, Speed, Trash or True Metal: The fans have long since reproduced and the parents' horror of yore now unites whole families across generations. What other music can say that about itself?
Mal döch mal Metal is therefore a small bow to the only genre of music for which one is never too old or too young.

Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.
My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever
