On July 24, 2010, YouTube amateur filmmakers were asked to grab their cameras to capture the day's most important events in sound and vision. The result is a 90-minute film with a view of all continents, 190 countries, and countless lives: The global film project "Life in a Day - Ein Tag auf deutscher Erde" brings together private videos from a wide variety of cultures uploaded via YouTube, shows fates and everyday situations up close and authentic. Sometimes simple and irrelevant, sometimes shocking, poignant and funny. Because in the end, that's exactly what it feels like - life.

It was put together by Oscar winner Kevin Madonald and produced by star director Ridley Scott. The music was contributed by electro producer Matthew Herbert.

A look at all continents, in 190 countries, in countless lives: the global film project brings together private videos from various cultures uploaded via YouTube, shows fates and everyday situations up close and authentically.

They are short snapshots of a single day, July 24, 2010. It also contains various German contributions, including depressing scenes from the Love Parade disaster that occurred on that day. The result is sometimes simple and unimportant, sometimes shocking, poignant and funny. Because in the end it feels just like that - life.

Life in a Day - A Day on Earth is a global film experiment. The idea for this came about as a result of the collaboration between Ridley Scott's production company Scott Free Films and the online portal YouTube. This was followed by a worldwide call to capture special moments with the camera on July 24, 2010. The answer was over 80.000 YouTube videos from around the world. From Australia to Zimbabwe, from the hearts of the most vibrant cities to the most remote places on earth, the cast created over 4.500 hours of deeply personal and moving films. The most impressive moments in this collection have been combined into a 95-minute film by director Kevin Macdonald. The result is an intercultural kaleidoscope of life on earth today.

"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it. However, you are welcome to simply copy and distribute the content, my blog has always been under the WTFPL license.

It's hard for me to describe what I'm actually doing here, DravensTales has become a culture blog, music blog, shock blog, tech blog, horror blog, fun blog, a blog about found items on the internet, internet bizarre, trash blog, art blog, water heater, zeitgeist blog over the years , Scrap blog and grab bag blog called. Everything that is right ... - and yet not. The main focus of the blog is contemporary art, in the broadest sense of the word.
