Touchstone Television tried after the success of Clerks 1995 to make a series out of the material for the Disney Channel. A classic sitcom with rehearsed laughter without the participation of Kevin Smith or anyone else of the original film. Strictly speaking, Brian O'Halloran applied, the in Clerks and Clerks II Dante played the role of Dante and was rejected in favor of Andrew Lowery. Also otherwise not much has been preserved. The humor of the original was the person in charge to get dirty, Jay and Silent Bob were equal all kicked out and also pop culture references and other important parts of the indie hits were canceled.
