Actor Dom DeLuise, star of the films "Smokey and the Bandit II" and "Cannonball Run I + II", which every car lover in his DVD - Collection has died yesterday at the age of 1.
Dom made his debut in the '60s as "Dominick der Grosse", on The Dean Martin Show and in numerous Mel Brooks films, but he will always be remembered for his role as split personality Victor Prinzim (aka Captain Chaos ) in «All Hell Breaks loose on the Highway 1 + 2», two absolute classics that have grown on me a little bit. DeLuise also acted in a few films in the 80's and 90's, but without much success. Or does anyone know «A Troll In Central Park»?
"I will miss him very much," said actor Burt Reynolds. Dom always looked out for others and never said a bad word, according to Reynolds. I fondly remember the peak of his career: Dressed in a garish superhero outfit, strutting through the world and saying "Dun dun DUNNNN!" screaming. Rest in Power, Dom.
