After the successful debut of his debut «WolfCop», director Lowell Dean thought two WolfCops were better than one. So this is now called "Another WolfCop" and there are actors like Leo Fafard, Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry and also a short cameo appearance by director colleague Kevin Smith. Police officer Lou Garou (Loup Garou = French for werewolf) likes to drink too much and doesn't take his job too seriously. Accordingly, it doesn't surprise him if he wakes up again in unusual places and can't remember anything. Only his enhanced senses seem strange to him and the fact that he can remember some crime scenes surprisingly well gives him food for thought. At some point, however, Lou Garou has to admit that he regularly transforms into a werewolf on a full moon. This has both advantages and disadvantages that he now has to come to terms with.
«Wolfcop» is funny, absurd, has terrific practical effects and the best werewolf transformation scene I've ever seen (I'll just say werewolf penis!). There was a comic book sequel a while back and it was pretty decent too and had a great cover and pretty decent story (I'm just saying whoops!) but a cinematic sequel is of course a whole lot better! The film will be shown for the first time at the Fantasia Film Fest today and a release is not really in sight yet...
