The UK has always been known in the metal scene as a region that excels in class over quantity when it comes to the artistic potential of its bands. Especially for bands from the modern, melodic sector, the island has been a constant haven for talented newcomers over the last few years - and «The Raven Age» featuring George Harris, the son of «Iron Maiden» and «British Lion» bassist Steve Harris are further powerful evidence for this claim.
In 2009, guitarists Dan Wright and George Harris came together with a vision of a band that would fuse contemporary heavy music with powerful, melodic vocals to create an epic and unique sound. The result was "The Raven Age«, a melodic metal band from London consists of Michael Burrough (vocals), Matt Cox (bass), Jai Patel (drums) and as mentioned Dan Wright and George Harris. The five friends share a love of heavy music and they all share a passion for songwriting.

Since the release of their self-titled debut EP, the five-piece troupe has made a name for themselves in the UK and beyond. "Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.
