With his new album “The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser”, Rob Zombie builds on old strengths. Rob Zombie was once very popular, at least for me, because “Hellbilly Deluxe” back in 1998 was simply great. After that, unfortunately, no album by the wild industrial creator really pulled me under its spell. Apart from his music, he was always able to convince me as a director, which probably meant that I always followed his creative drive. Even if with the conclusion that his music slipped a little into insignificance for me. With “The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser” or “TEWAWSOCD” for short, he's also back on track musically and shows what he's got!

With every album since “Hellbilly Deluxe” there was always one or the other song that was really good, but unfortunately the master was unable to tie in with those times or even with albums by White Zombie. But “TEWAWSOCD” was not to be expected, because Rob Zombie shows all the unbelievers the finger and gives them such a blow, from which one will not recover so quickly. “The Last Of The Demons Defeated” is a 90-second introduction that makes it clear what Zombie wants to express with his work. Heavy guitars, freaky, creepy sounds and the high art of industrial are heavy and make it immediately clear that Rob Zombie has not left his path. As is well known, the man was never averse to horror and what happened to the second song “Satanic Cyanide! The Killer Rocks On! " revealed is a horror film in the most positive sense. As cautious as the song may start out, it develops over the course of its term as oppressive and morbid. The balance between confused sounds, zombies haunting singing and brutally noisy walls is fascinating. In the 2:58 minutes, Zombie also conjures up gentle elements from the hat, which are perfectly integrated into the otherwise rude songs.

“The Life And Times Of A Teenage Rock God”, on the other hand, only aims to shock. You feel oppressed, threatened and look evil in the face. Certain parallels to Rammstein and their hit album “Sehnsucht” cannot be dismissed out of hand, but allegations of plagiarism will certainly not arise. “Well, Everybody's Fucking In A UFO” could already be heard as a pre-release single and as skeptical as I was about the number at the time, I now understand this song so well. He represents the album masterfully and in the overall context he seems like the best choice for a single. “A Hearse Overturns With The Coffin Bursting Open” is an interlude that leaves time to breathe. The instrumental track seems almost fragile in the ranks of the songs on this album. When Zombie picks up an acoustic guitar and shows himself to be fragile, you have to ask yourself whether there is perhaps a little romantic behind the rough leg. "The Hideous Exhibtions Of A Dedicated Gore Whore" is a celebration of the freedom of words. If you need tuition in terms of offensive vocabulary, you can pick up your free lesson here, accompanied by a Hammond organ! “Medication For The Melancholy” then lashes forward again and shows the purposefulness of his work, “Get Your Boots On! That's The End Of Rock And Roll ”already has party character and“ Super-Doom-Hex-Gloom Part One ”is the most compact song of the 12-track album. But Rob Zombie can also do Doom, as “Wurdalak” shows. Where there is sheer destruction and boundless chaos, this man feels at home.

Powerful guitars meet pounding drums, Mickey Mouse goes well with Gregorian chants (“Satanic Cyanide”), electronica inserts don't bite with acoustic guitars, mosh pit on the dance floor and again and again lyrical passages loosen up the rock storm. The consciously created ups and downs, the electronic background music and the convincing head of the project make the album a masterpiece that can take on the fight with the last very successful studio album without any problems! “The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser” is a fascinating work that provides insights into the brain of Rob Zombie. Genius and madness usually go hand in hand, as the saying goes, and you can only agree with that after this crude and weird musical wandering. Where other bands and musicians often lose quality at the end of a groove, I can only say that the second half of the work in particular is devilishly good. An album that is one of the man's best, if not his best work.

"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced press reporting politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I'm aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I won't change it to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it is "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it. It's hard for me to describe what I'm actually doing here, DravensTales has become a culture blog, music blog, shock blog, tech blog, horror blog, fun blog, a blog about found items on the internet, internet bizarre, trash blog, art blog, water heater, zeitgeist blog over the years , Scrap blog and grab bag blog called. Everything that is right ... - and yet not. The main focus of the blog is contemporary art, in the broadest sense of the word.
